The Soul the Great Bell: A Reflection        The Son of Heaven had instructed an official Kouan-Yu to create a bell that would be heard for one hundred li. Kouan-Yu and his laborers worked hard to finish the bell. They showed it to the Son of Heaven but the Son of Heaven was disappointed for the metals failed to mix with each other. They tried and worked harder for the second bell but it was the same. The Son of Heaven was frustrated and ordered the death of Kouan-Yu if he cannot produce the bell on his third try.         Ko-Ngai, daughter of Kouan-Yu was afraid of his father's fate so she had consulted an astrologer to help his father. The astrologer advised that it will only be successful if a maiden will be melted into the crucible. So on the day of the third casting of the bell, she leapt in the crucible. July 5, 2018    An open letter to the parents:              Shoutout to the parents who raised me with pride and dignity; who were there through thick and thin. Even though my life has darkness, but you still light up my world and guide me through my way home. You are a true superhero mom and dad. All the stuff that you gave me won't really make me happy but the love that you gave me is priceless.               As a child, I couldn't get tired of saying "Thank you" to you. I don't know how to return all the love that you gave me. No one can beat your unconditional love. I may not be a perfect daughter but I promise to you that someday I'll make you proud and payback all the sacrifices and love that you gave me. Chelsea Aliganga 

"GUILTY AS CHARGED" An Autobiographical Incident Chelsea Aliganga        "Always tell the truth" she said.            One of the things that my mother taught me is honesty. As she said that "Without honesty, there is no trust" and I followed her advice and obeyed her. Because of what my mother taught me, I became friendly and respectful to the people around me. I have a lot of friends yet I don't know who's the truest among them all.          "It'll be fun!" they said.            My friends invited me for a trip. They said we'll create memories and to make our bond stronger. I knew my mom won't allow me so I told them that I can't go. They responded and told me, "Don't tell your mom the truth."                        The fashion show and vocational fair was held in ACT Bulacao Campus Last November 24 by the Junior High school Students.            Each Junior High school level were given a task. The Grade 7 students were assigned to be an audience in the show while the grade 9 students had their Vocational Fair but some of the grade 7 and 9 students performed on stage. But the grade 8 and 10 students were the ones who mostly participated this event. Asian College of Technology celebrated Foundation Day last September 30,2017 at Bulacao Cebu City.                                     (Photos from Triziah Bondoc) ACT celebrated this event for over 29 years.   Students, admins, teachers, and including some Alumni was there. Then, each grade levels presented their dance and every dances shows different culture and tradition from their country. Before the Grand Finale starts, Doc Franciska Uy, ACT’s school principal, had a speech. After, all students including the teachers, and admins danced the Fly high. “This event was so stressful yet so worth it.” Chelsea Enriquez, Grade 7 student, said.

 Last September 17,2017, Asian College of Technology celebrated ACT night at Pardo.  ACT was honored to present in Pardo. It is one of the most fantastic events presented by ACT that presents about our country's culture.  The event showed our heritage and it was a glimpse from the past and encourages us to preserve it." ACT night was part of the upcoming celebration of 151st Fiesta celebration in Pardo. The event was started by an opening prayer and was performed by the Grade 7 students. Dr. Franchezka Uy had a little speech after the opening prayer.And it is followed by some tribal dances and dramas.   (Photo not mine) All students that are participants and non-participants are asked to join in that event. One of the participants, Chelsea Enriquez said "It was such a fantastic event held by  ACT."
